Death strikes younger people as well!

It is not surprising to learn, according to a report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), that 63% of people who died in 2015 were aged 75 or over. What may be surprising for some is that the ABS figures also show that 13.5% of the deaths in this year were people aged under 60. That is nearly one in seven recorded deaths were for people under 60.

It is reasonable to assume that when people die at a younger age in most instances the death was as a result of an accident or short term illness.  It is also reasonable to assume that some families will not only have to deal with the distress of losing a loved one, but the added stress of quickly finding the money to pay for a funeral.

No-one likes the thought that death can occur at a young age – but unfortunately thousands of Australian families have to deal with this each year.  Therefore, a low-cost funeral insurance plan may help many families who would struggle with the $6,000 to $10,000 to pay for a funeral.  Sureplan Family Fund is a funeral insurance fund designed for people to apply for at a younger age. Even though cover is provided for a lifetime, it has fixed premiums payable only until age 60 that makes it Australia’s most cost-effective funeral insurance cover.  For more information call Sureplan on 1800 817 105 or visit www.sureplan.com.au.
